One of our Financial Advisors, Christian Becerra, serves on the Board of WomenRising, where he continues to support the organization’s mission and expand its reach. As the organization’s first male board member, his involvement reflects both leadership and a deep personal commitment to the cause.
For more than 120 years, WomenRising has supported women and families by providing critical services such as domestic violence support, housing assistance, workforce development, and youth and family programs.
Christian’s connection to the organization is rooted in his own life experience:
“I joined the organization because I was a victim of domestic violence growing up and have always wanted to help those facing similar challenges. When I attended my first Women Rising Gala, their mission immediately spoke to me. I often wonder how different our lives might have been if my mother had found an organization like theirs to support her when she was looking for help.”
His continued involvement helps bring awareness to these important services and supports families navigating difficult circumstances.

Ark Wealth Solutions was proud to serve as a Silver Sponsor for WomenRising’s Rise & Stride Walk on March 28, 2026, helping the organization reach its $30,000 fundraising goal. Community-driven events like these play an important role in expanding access to essential resources.
Financial Literacy in Action
In addition to supporting WomenRising’s mission, our team has recently hosted educational presentations for their community. These sessions focus on providing practical, easy-to-understand financial guidance to help individuals build confidence and take meaningful steps toward financial stability.
We also recently taught Retirement Planning classes at Middlesex Community College and presented to a Middlesex Community College Senior Culinary class.
